Maureen Duffy joined CIL in 1983 and is currently the Chief Revenue Officer.

Maureen has spent her career at CIL having joined the company in 1983 in as Sales Coordinator.  Over the years she has held various Sales Management roles including 22 years as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Maureen is currently CIL’s Chief Revenue Officer and is responsible for all Global Sales, Marketing, Product and Business Development. During her tenure, Maureen and her team have driven revenue growth; expanded market share and developed stable isotope labeled compound solutions for new market applications. 

Joel Louette joined Cambridge Isotope Laboratories in 2013 as the Director of European Business Development. In this role, Joel is responsible for rationalizing and developing the European market for CIL products.

Joel comes to CIL with more than 20 years of experience from Thermo Fisher Scientific where he held many roles including Commercial Director. Joel holds a Master's Degree in Biochemistry from the University of Leige in Belgium.

Todd Osiek, CSO, is responsible for supporting operations development of best practices in Safety and Quality, working with Sales and Marketing on new-product development, and mapping out strategic directions and opportunities.

Todd comes to CIL with more than 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, supporting various stages of development from discovery to marketed products. Most recently, he served as the Director of Analytical Chemistry, Research, at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, where his team was responsible for all pipeline products, including technical support for method development, transfer, characterization, manufacturing technology transfers, and quality investigations. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from St. Louis University and his PhD from Washington University in St. Louis.

As the Vice President of Operations, Warren is responsible for all technical and supply chain functions and consistently delivering value through the delivery of over 15,000 SKUs to CIL's customers around the globe.

As the Vice President of Operations, Warren is responsible for all technical and supply chain functions and consistently delivering value through the delivery of over 15,000 SKUs to CIL’s customers around the globe. He comes with two decades of experience in the chemical industry and most recently was the Vice President of Distribution & Scheduling at Linde Gas, LLC, North America.

Warren holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Texas A&M University, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix. He also obtained a Six Sigma Black Belt through Linde University.

Krista Backiel is responsible for managing and promoting products that are utilized in metabolomics and clinical/diagnostic MS. She spends a lot of her time developing new products to assist customers in their diverse research efforts.

Krista Backiel oversees all market development and promotional activities for CIL’s products with a focus in the metabolomics and clinical/diagnostic MS markets. She spends a lot of her time developing new products to assist customers in their diverse research efforts. She has been with CIL since 2005 and has held many different positions within the Sales and Marketing team since then. She has a BS in biology and biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA with concentrations in health sector management and marketing from Boston University. In her free time, Krista likes to travel, cook, play soccer, and ride her bike!

Xinwen Zhou became the Business Development Director, responsible for the China market in 2015. He is responsible for Identifying and pursuing new opportunities for market expansion, developing the relationship with the key opinion leader in the field, supporting distributors to gain more share from the market, organizing/attending technical conferences to expand CIL's market footprint, building brand recognition in the Chinese market.

Xinwen has been in the mass spectrometry field for more than 11 years, previously working as a district sales manager at Sciex before becoming a market development manager, also at Sciex. 

Xinwen holds an MBA from Shanghai Jiaotong University, as well as a master's degree in plant biology from Zhejiang University.

Tasha Agreste currently holds the position of Deuterated Reagents and Intermediates Product Manager, where she focuses her time working with companies on their stable isotope-labeled product needs for synthetic applications, including the manufacturing of APIs.

Marwan ElMasri is the GMP Production Manager at CIL. He was previously the Assistant Production Manager for Research Products and has over 26 years experience as a professional chemist.

Marwan is currently a member of the Board of Directors, previously president of the North American chapter and previously president of the International Isotope Society. He was also a member of the American Chemical Society for over 30 years.

Marwan holds a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from Oklahoma State University, a Masters in Medicinal Chemistry from University of Sussex (UK), and a BSc in Chemistry from University of Baghdad (Iraq).

Ben Priest currently holds the position of Business Development Manager – Environmental Standards, where he is responsible for development of stable isotope labeled standards and standard mixtures to meet requirements of researchers, regulatory agencies and commercial testing laboratories worldwide. He is also responsible for development of key partnerships to develop standards for analysis of environmental, food, water, and human exposure samples.

Ros Shelhamer joined Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc. in 2014 as the Business Development Manager. His focus is developing new business opportunities for CIL within the MRS/MRI, Metabolomics and GMP product lines.

As the Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs (2016), Ellen is responsible for the daily operation of the QC and QA/RA groups to ensure compliance with internal procedures as well as regulatory obligations globally. Ellen and her team strive to continually improve all quality and regulatory programs.

Ellen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Salem State University and a Master in Science degree from Tufts University. She started her career at Polaroid as an analytical chemist in support of their R&D group. After Polaroid she moved to API and OTC supplement manufacturing, supervising and managing the quality control laboratories, as well as preforming various QA-related functions.

Dr. Andrew Percy is the Senior Applications Chemist for Mass Spectrometry and the MS ‘Omics Product Manager at CIL. His responsibilities minimally involve providing technical support, overseeing product development, identifying new product market opportunities, assisting in the analysis of product-related applications, and writing/reviewing marketing literature.

Andrew has been in the MS field for more than 15 years. He obtained a PhD in bioanalytical chemistry at the University of Calgary (Alberta, Canada) in 2011. After a brief postdoctoral fellowship in 2011, he became the Quantitative Proteomics group leader at the UVic-Genome BC Proteomics Centre (BC, Canada). His research there focused on the development and application of novel MS-based assays for the qualification/quantification of proteins in human and mouse biosamples. He held this position until joining CIL in early 2016. At CIL he leverages his expertise with MS and isotopically labeled analytes to facilitate product analysis and internal developments, as well as assisting customers with product applications in a diverse range of research avenues. To date, Dr. Percy has published more than 40 research articles in peer-reviewed journals; he is an active member of the mQACC consortium, acts as an ad-hoc reviewer for an array of scientific journals, and is on the editorial board of Biomedicines.

Kevin Millis, PhD, is the Senior Scientist and Market Development Manager for all NMR and mass spectrometry product lines. Kevin is responsible for Technical Services both internally and externally for all CIL customers as well as being responsible for the application and market development for the CIL products.

Kevin has been with CIL for over 23 years, holding many positions starting with QC test method development and regulatory affairs manager and working his way to market development, where he is currently responsible for building market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating and closing business relationships. He was instrumental in bringing the manufacture and testing of the ¹⁸O water into GMP compliance. 

Kevin holds a BS in chemistry, biochemistry emphasis, from California State University, Fullerton; an MS in analytical chemistry; and a PhD in analytical chemistry from the University of California, Riverside.
