Standards for Environmental Analysis

Soil and Sediment Testing

For over 30 years, Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc. has produced reference materials for the analysis of dioxins, furans, PCBs and other contaminants. CIL has reference materials available for soil, sediment, fish tissue and cod liver oil and is currently working to add more matrices to the list of reference materials. Each matrix undergoes a round of international Interlaboratory studies involving commercial, academic and government laboratories. Consensus values are determined through for many different classes of compounds through statistical analysis of data obtained through these Interlaboratory studies.
