CIL Mass Spec Image Contest

Win $500 (USD) of CIL products or a $500 (USD) travel stipend to be used at a meeting of your choice!*

We are seeking unique images illustrating research in the area of proteomics, metabolism, or environmental contaminants. Think outside the box, the more creative the better!

Contest will begin on May 30, 2012 and end on July 13, 2012.

Up to 4 images will be chosen. Images may be chosen to be used on the cover or inside of our catalog.

All participants will receive a free gift from CIL.

Images need to be related to the fields of proteomics, metabolism, or environmental contaminant studies. Images should be unique and visually interesting and could illustrate biological or technological processes.

Each image should be submitted with a short paragraph explaining the image and the research.

There is no limit to the number of images that can be submitted by each person. However, a separate submission form will need to be filled out for each image. Authors must agree to the rules and regulations prior to submitting images.

Images should be submitted in hi-res (300 dpi). Please be aware that image resolution will affect how the image can be used.

Rules and regulations

All submissions must be received by July 13, 2012
Submitters must guarantee that the images submitted are original and their own. If this is not the case, the entity detaining the rights must give permission to the submitter in writing.
By submitting an image the participant is giving permission for CIL to use the image for both printed and web-based materials.
The author of each selected image will be awarded $500 USD of free CIL products or a travel stipend to be used at a meeting of his/her choice.
CIL decisions on selected images are final.
CIL retains the right to cancel the competition at any time. In this event the participants will be notified.
