As a result of continued growth and expansion, Cambridge Isotope Laboratories has the following employment opportunities:

BS/MS SYNTHETIC ORGANIC CHEMIST

Utilizing synthetic chemistry knowledge and experience, perform the de novo synthesis and purification of a wide variety of isotopically labeled targets (13C, 15N, 18O and D isotopes) under the guidance of a Group Leader.

We are looking for qualified candidates who possess a BS in Chemistry plus 2 – 4 yrs. of related industry experience, or a MS in Organic Chemistry with 0 – 2 yrs. of related experience. Excellent communication skills & methodical lab technique are also required. GMP experience is a plus.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES – BIOTECH

ENTRY LEVEL – RECENT COLLEGE GRADS WANTED!!

Outstanding opportunity to use your scientific knowledge and play an important role at CIL by providing top notch customer service.  As a member of our specialty/fine chemical customer service team, you will be responsible for receiving and processing orders, developing price quotations, responding to technical inquiries and assisting our sales representatives.

We are very customer focused and are looking for individuals who have:

• Education or experience in the field of science
• Polished communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Detail orientation and follow through skills
• Commitment to fulfilling customer needs

This is an entry level position for a recent college grad with a BS/BA in chemistry, biology or other science; or individuals with 4 years of customer service experience including 1-2 years in a scientific environment.

Only local area applicants will be considered.

CHEMICAL SHIPPER

We are currently seeking an experienced Shipper to prepare products for domestic and/or international shipment in a high volume specialty chemical environment.

Position requires a HS diploma, plus a minimum of 3 yrs. of shipping experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a chemical environment. Experience with UPS, FedEx and MS Windows is required.   Haz Mat certification in one or more of the following is strongly desired: DOT (Department of Transportation), IATA (International Air Transportation Assoc.), IMDG (International Maritime Dangerous Goods), ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization).  Knowledge of export documentation is a plus (e.g. commercial invoices, SED, SLI, BOL).  Position requires ability to lift or move 50 -100 pounds and the ability to complete shipping documents with a high level of accuracy.
